Tammy Willcox was born in Miami, Oklahoma. Located in the extreme northeast corner of the state, Miami is home to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, The Coleman Theatre Beautiful and home of Country Music Star, Keith Anderson. The area is also proud to be "stomping grounds", as we say here in Oklahoma, to Mickey Mantle and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts. Heisman trophy winner, Steve Owens, is also from Miami as well as famous artist, Charles Banks Wilson.
