PLAINSFOLK 
"Plainsfolk": LeeAnn Sours, Jack Sours, Tammy Willcox, Steve Widders, Linda Widders. Plainsfolk is a Celtic music group formed by two couples from Southwest Missouri. Jack and LeeAnn Sours (left) of Neosho, MO and Steve and Linda Widders (right) of Springfield, MO. Occasionally they let me play with their group and I LOVE IT! They have taught me so much about Irish session music. I'll always be grateful to them for helping me develop my ear for the Celtic style. 
CROFTER'S GATE
Let your mind wander back a century or so to a time before modern entertainment. A time with no electronic gadgets…music was made at home and not bought at the store. Imagine neighboring farmers or “crofters” gathering in homes on Saturday nights to share some tunes and fellowship. Perhaps they built a gate between farms so they wouldn’t have so far to go.
Enter the Crofter’s Gate for an evening of music from ancient instruments such as the fiddle, guitar, bodhran, Irish whistles, concertina and harp. Crofter’s Gate is made up of artisans Jack and LeeAnn Sours of Neosho, MO and Tammy Willcox of Miami, OK.
